Canv.as is a [[SFW]] image-centric social website created by [[4chan]] founder [[moot| Christopher "moot" Poole]]. Canv.as allows users to "[[No life|share and play with images]]", and it's user-base is widely regarded as having unparalleled [[Autism|creativity]]. It has been suggested that Canv.as is a sfw derivative of 4chan without the humor and functionality.  Despite these [[Facts|critiques]], moot has found Jew gold to help fund his new collaborative [[Imminent Failure|website]].

Canv.as offers a simple drawing applet for remixing images, which sucks even moar than [[MS Paint]]. Canvasfags mainly use it to randomly add badly drawn monocles to images. The idea of the applet is to promote [[Original Content|OC]]. Unfortunately it means that Canv.as is frequently filled with [[over 9000]] unfunny variations of the same image. As a result of this, memes on canv.as typically go stale in mere nanoseconds, compared to /b/ where this process would take several milliseconds.
On Canv.as they had the handy tool to "remix" images while in browser! While this tool would be cool if not for the fact that Canv.as was full of [[13-year-old boys]] who downvote anything even remotely [[lulz|lulzy]], every image was remixed [[over 9000]] times to the point where anything that was even remotely [[OC|Original]] would be stale within the first 5 seconds.

Canv.as once let you combine [[Youtube]] music with [[gif|gifs]]. This lead to the same content being posted repeatedly only with different music. The feature was removed due to regional copyright issues.

Canv.as was a shitty website where creative users take old shitty stale memes that the rest of the internet threw away, and remixes them over 9000 times. Nothing on Canv.as was OC but all the creative users who just discovered the internet think they are so original and can create epic lulz.
