Wikipedia Review/DL
I vaguely recall a thread where DL started going on about some stuff that was supposedly on the WR servers that tried to access his/her computer or something?
"FBI has everyone's name on this board. I told you guys that there was some weird tracking stuff on this board."
I thought this was a joke? So DL actually was "coerced" by an FBI agent in drag?
Lackey sent me two very long PMs covering all this in detail recently. She explains how the FBI know who we are and are investigating each of us for being a subversive threat to the Unites States due to our anti-Wikipedia acivity.
She wanted to speak to me over the phone, or meet me in person.
I completely ignored her PMs and didn't even reply. She's clearly out of her mind.
She even admits in the PMs that she has "no evidence for any connections to WR".

Why was William Broer's Clarkson alumni page deleted?
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaait a second. DL's screenshots helpfully tell us that thwy are in France (as well as a bunch of programmes they are runnin DOH). Fieryangel mentioned something about how she will never give her info to the Wikimedia foundation because of what someone has told her. She is also in France. Soooo...
No matching IP's, though. I mean, lots and lots of people live in France and Switzerland...
FYI, the fieryangel has one of the lowest IP-address:postings ratios on the website. Maybe the lowest - only 3 distinct IP addresses, all from the same (apparently local) French ISP, and over 1,300 posts.
DL has a similar number of posts, but 73 distinct IP's, from at least a dozen ranges...
In this post I mentioned that she had just called me. She said she was calling from a pay phone in Geneva (even though she'd talk for over an hour if I let her). I haven't heard from her since, but when I saw her FBI post this morning, I quickly killed the ringer on the phone and will let the answering machine deal with it.
More about that recent conversation, to the best of my recollection:
She is convinced that she is under surveillance by one or more intelligence agencies. As is her habit, instead of going low-key and remaining calm, she escalates the situation all out of proportion to the threat. Her laptop is compromised, she believes, so she calls up some hotsy-totsy ex-intel forensic pseudo-crypto-analyst-security firm and spills her guts. The security guy smells a few bucks, I presume, so he's completely interested. Jennifer Powell (DL) tosses out some sooper-sekrit encryption lingo to test the guy's qualifications, and naturally he's still interested.
I tried to suggest to Jennifer, in a kindly fashion, that she is bringing this stuff on herself. The way she calls up everyone and spills her guts amounts to digging herself into a hole. She called Jimbo once on his cellphone at around midnight to lecture him about her bio. She stopped off to see Seigenthaler in Nashville, Tennessee. (I later asked Seigenthaler about this, and he said that he felt that Jennifer wasn't making much sense during their visit.) All of that was almost a year ago.
Now she's in deeper, and she responds by contacting ex-spook types who are "security consultants" in the lucrative post-9/11 market, and she complains that her every move is being tracked. Keep in mind that Jennifer has legitimate Middle East contacts from her nonprofit agency based in Switzerland. Maybe she is being watched. Maybe she should be watched because she fits the profile and she's consistently and openly interested in the background of spooky people!
But she's clearly bringing it on herself. This is her org's website. She registered that domain almost four years ago. Now she's hiding the staff box from non-members, but you can see that she has a number of international contacts. I also suggested to her that maybe she's being watched because someone would like to recruit her. She's in a good position to be a spy, if only she was more stable.

What about me, Somey? I'm curious!
Greg
Nothing I wouldn't have expected... You've got 122 distinct IP's, but from only about 5-6 ranges, implying that you're either on dial-up, or you unplug your DSL router fairly often, or you use the same proxy provider(s) from wherever you happen to be at the time. (My guess would be that it's probably just unplugging the router.)
Mind you, the fact that the fieryangel has an unusually consistent IP address doesn't make him any better or worse than anyone else here. Also, I'm wondering if I should start using male personal pronouns when referring to him in publicly visible forums - I'm pretty sure now that The fieryangel is male.

Of the contributors with at least 50 posts, who has the fewest IP addresses, and who has the most?
(If these questions involve a painful amount of research, nevermind.)
Woo hoo! One hundred twenty-two ! ! ! Do you realize for how much money you could sell that list to Calton or Morven?

Fiery is that guy with the beard, Paul, in the Facebook friends list. Or at least I thought so?

Well, you'd have to define "painful." It could probably be done with one SQL query, but writing such a query might hurt a little bit...
Good thing I'm a moderately well-off sort of fellow, then!

Okay ;) So how d'you know it is Paul?
Isn't that a bit obvious? From how protective fa seems of their privacy on here sticking your pic up on the WR facebook would seem a bit naive/out of character?

I don't know, but when I saw that an American musicologist based in Paris had joined the WReview Facebook, I assumed it was Fiery -- who is an American musicologist based in Paris.

Well, kudos to you as that is definitely fa. Do you have any idea what his WP account is/was? (also, when and who set up the Facebook account?)
