Words can kill

When surrounded by things trying to kill you, the natural response is to chant a mantra.

The true danger doesn't come from the monsters. The true danger comes from the mysterious ailment which forces the characters to talk constantly and experience flashbacks during combat. Despite having suits which give superhuman strength and weapons which can hit a teaspoon from a kilometer away, the characters are incapable of hitting anything without first talking about their crappy lives for several pages, and promising to bone each other if they make it back alive. Naturally, any character who makes any sort of promise is going to bite the dust.

The Characters

Because the way to a woman's heart is to convince her you like to bone animals.

Kei Kurono is the lead character. He's a massive pussy, and he wants to rape the sweet, sweet pussy of any female who talks to him. Kei has an epiphany later in the series that God doesn't exist because bad things happen to good people.

Masaru Kato is a pacifist pussy, but he's got balls of platinum. He's like Raiden from Metal Gear Solid, but with better hair, and unlike Raiden, he actually has a penis.

Vampires

Gantz has sexy sexy vampires. Yes, they're kinda evil. Yes, they decapitate innocent schoolgirls for lulz. But we all have our vices, right? Chewing gum, snoring, sadistic acts of murder - it's all really the same thing.

Waifus

Kei Kishimoto is a character whose primary purpose in life is to illustrate a plot point - that Gantz sometimes screws up and makes copies of people who are still alive.

Her secondary purpose is to be primary waifu. This means that she has massive boobs, a submissive personality, and she dies.

Sei Sakuraoka is a Angelina Jolie look-alike who screws Kei's brains out before a mission because he's just so damn sexy. She'd do YOU, too. That's right. This gives her transient waifu status.

The Animu

An anime adaptation was made which has some of the worst pacing in anime history. And given how shitty anime is paced in general, that's a mean feat.

The Live Action Films

Also created were some live action movies. The only thing anyone knows about them is that the dubbing was god-tier. Actually, it was shit. But we were trying to think of something positive to say about it.

Gantz is apparently the source of the Y U NO meme, a forced meme which makes no fucking sense.
