SA moderator

Honest Abe (Powerword: Caylen Matthew Burroughs) is a Something Awful forums moderator and a Men's Rights Activist. He's willing to do anything in an attempt to be desired by the ladies at Star Trek conventions, even if that means making a deal with the devil. In a way he has, he's friends with Aatrek (Powerword: Aaron Patrick Nadler]]), a moderator who's been disgraced and for good reason has been thrown out of SA forever.

Astrek

Astrek was a member of SA since 2004 and a moderator for the last 5 years until October 21, 2013. Like Honest Abe, he was an obsessive trekkie that nobody could stand because he dominated every Star Trek related discussion. Should members challenge him, he would attempt to drown them out with his opinion. Anyone who couldn't be beaten into submission would be sat down for a reasonable discussion. So he's just your average SA moderator, right?

Eventually he pissed off the wrong person that decided to research Astrek. As a teenager, Aatrek took used his job as a babysitter to repeatedly rape an 8 year old girl. That's right, the forums that attacked Reddit for having pedophiles had one in their own ranks. Aatrek was banned and disgraced from SA in the blink of an eye.

Guilty by association

For a moment reflect on President Obama, his friend Bill Ayers and pastor Jeremiah Wright. Now that Astrek is gone, members are now targeting his friend Honest Abe who is also a disliked moderator. They've labeled him a pedophile like his friend Astrek, but the only evidence so far is guilt by association. Other members are telling the lynch mob to knock it off. What is known is this drama is still unfolding and far from over.
