In the wake of GamerGate two such white knights set out to prove how strong and independent feminist women like Anita, Zoe Quinn and Brianna Wu are by defending them as if they were helpless little babies. Their failure was so massive that they both became a meme.

*Nods Respectfully Toward You* became a meme after a Zoe Quinn  white knight named "Marc Threadingham" took off his fedora, revealing his shiny chrome dome, and tipped it in typical m'lady fashion. It has not yet been reported whether or not this got him pussy. However, given what we know about fair lady Zoe, our good sir knight has likely since been engulfed in a cavernous hipster vagina. RIP.

On the plus side, at least he made himself internet famous by volunteering his bald head so it could be shopped into an entire gallery of epic male SJW mockery.

His hilarious failure sparked "Operation Disrespectful Nod" wherein all the GamerGate nerds started Emailing advertisers on game news sites, immortalizing this guy forever in internet fame shame.

Kung Fu Guy is a totally not forced meme that happened when Steve Hogarty, taking the example of Mike Cernovich, came to the defense of Zoe Quinn by trying to show what a badass he is. However, unlike Mike Cernovich who is a 200 pound lawyer/power lifter, Steve is a skinny nerd who writes articles about gaming and looks like the "Karate Kyle" meme.

Consequently he became the new "Respectfully Nodding Guy".
