Flabbinabbal is a mysterious LJ user who has added many of LiveJournal's elite to its Friends list. No one knows who the user's identity, or why they have added all of these people with whom they are only slightly connected. The mystery is further compounded by the fact that the journal itself contains entries that appear to be random gibberish, though upon further examination it becomes clear that the entries have been processed through some kind of translation software into another language and then back again. Evidence of this phenomenon comes from flabbinabbal's userinfo which reads "Why Can't Tori Translate?"

Recent entries have been slightly more coherent, talking about kamuela in one post and even referencing Encyclopedia Dramatica in another (which also includes a mention of rant about cons).

Worst LiveJournal serial adder/troll/game ever. Poorly conceived and unwilling to admit defeat on numerous occasions. Some have defended, some have abhorred, either way it's unfunny.

Very old concept, dating back to the early days of LiveJournal, but has been done so much better in days of yonder.
