<Your Boyfriend
Day 1 - Silent Path

In a park the protagonist, Y/N, sits in a bench complaining to the player about having to move out of her families home due to in fighting and getting an apartment with her unemployed junkie roommate. We learn she works long hours at a low pay grease spoon diner and is seeking a new roommate to replace her currently unemployed one. Peter suddenly sits beside the protagonist, talks with her, and asks her her out, mentioning he's her boyfriend and asking isn't that why she's here.

...

Peter feels rejected by the silence but our protagonist feels good that, "He is taking the rejection well. No tantrum or pressure of any sort." After Peter leaves our protagonist feels terrible for how things ended up and that she wants to apologize for the way things happened the way they did when she sees Peter again.

Y/N wanders into a flower shop, picking up a rose, Peter appears out of nowhere picking the same rose, Y/N accuses Peter of stalking her.

(select nothing = Maybe that's not too bad)

Y/N disregards how weird her interactions with Peter have been, Peter asks to see her again. Strangely, Y/N and thus you the player are allowed to name Peter.

(select nothing = I'll be fine)

After being rejected again by the protagonist Peter leaves the shop with you, Peter responds, "Aww dang, rejected twice in one day. Today hasn't been that kind to me... But how about we hang out tomorrow." Y/N leaves the shop without the rose but tells Peter where she works.

Y/N goes home uneventfully and goes to sleep, all the while Peter stalks her just outside her bedroom window.

Day 2 - Silent Path

Y/N wakes up noticing the clock indicates that she's two hours late for work, she confronts her roommate, Lucy, about why she didn't wake her. Lucy says she heard Y/N rummaging around before so didn't bother her, the two have a brief quarrel before Y/N rushes out the door skipping coffee to work on a Sunday. Arriving at the greasy Dad's Damn Diner she notices her punch card has already been used, her coworker TK informs her they have been covering her shift for the past 45 minutes. The protagonist makes an excuse before TK gestures at how much customers are in the diner (apparently from a tour bus full of old people). A still image with text representing a scene plays where Y/N complains about customers while serving them. TK informs Y/N that she missed Peter's table, the player has the opinion to say something to Peter.

...

The protagonist justifies the players choice by stating she didn't want to give Peter the satisfaction of the reply and there's silence between the two. Peter says he wants to give Y/N a break from work while the restaurant is busy. Y/N refuses and, "Peter gets up from the booth and makes his way out the diner, not even making eye contact or saying a word as he leaves."

TK asks about Peter, the protagonist says Peter is a guy that wants to ask her out, the protagonist tells the player TK is also a potential love interest. Y/N decides to eat lunch at the restaurant and TK generously gives them extra servings of food more than she paid for. The player notices Peter left behind a paper crane.

... (say nothing to TK)

You say nothing to TK and leave the soup untouched, TK frowns at the awkward silence. TK returns to work, Y/N indicates to the player they won't get anymore favors from them today.

As Y/N leaves the diner she indicates it feels as though someone's eyes are on her.

Arriving at her apartment Y/N meets her landlord and he requests getting rent from her, she says she will need to talk to Lucy her roommate about it, he goes into her apartment. The landlord indicates Lucy broke the agreement one too many times and that Y/N should let her go.

...

At the silence the landlord says he has a busy schedule and that he expects the protagonists file to be cleared by morning so needs a decision soon. Our protagonist indicates to the player she knows no other roommates other than Lucy and will need a second job to cover Lucy's rent. The landlord leaves and Y/N goes to her room and calls Peter to ask him to be her roommate only to have the phone ring in the apartment.

(select nothing)

The screen goes red for a second. The protagonist asks what happened after an apparent injury to the head. Peter enters the room and pets the protagonist along her back, breathes into her ear, saying, "Don't worry, I'll take care of you..."

Day 3 - Silent Path

The protagonist wakes up in her bedroom, her head pounding, asking what happened last night. Flashbacks of the events and Peter's voice ring through her mind.

"It... it must have been a nightmare."

There's a knock at the door, Y/N answers and the it's the landlord wanting to check if Lucy's in her room, both the landlord and Y/N check, we are informed Lucy is nowhere to be found. The landlord says he'll check his roledex for Lucy's number, we learn the papers on Lucy's floor are four month old resumes and that the landlord may hirer Lucy for a job.

The protagonist goes to work, TK indicates that there's been a break in and that they tried texting Y/N about the news that there's no work that day. "The kitchen is a wreck though. The back door is completely busted in, all cooking equipment banged up, and the Boss's office is completely ruined." There's a scream after police officers find a body in the freezer, afterwards an officer tells the protagonist and TK to wait outside where they're met by Peter. Peter apparently told TK to leave the restaurant after it was closed when TK informs Peter they, "had to be brought in for questioning and to get my alibi straight! Besides, Y/N wasn't answering their phone!"

Peter says he wanted to get Y/N breakfast and glares at TK who responds, "There's been a break-in and a bloody body in the freezer! There's a lot more going on right now besides your damn breakfast date!"

"Both of you, knock it off!"

Both characters apologize to the protagonist.

The protagonist hands Peter enough money to feed the three characters, after Peter leaves TK indicates they don't like Peter. Y/N rushes back into the diner believing that Lucy must be the body in the freezer, but instead it's the Landlord. An officer pulls them back out of the diner. TK walks the protagonist home, without Peter, they offer to check up on the protagonist every day since they don't have work for awhile.

(select silence = "No, I'll be fine. Thanks though.")

TK leaves, indicating they also can't pay rent with no work to go to, and with their head low and hands in their pockets.

Lucy comforts the protagonist, Peter is also in the apartment and nudges the two apart. While Lucy questions the murder of Don William's Peter's unbothered by it. Peter gets into a fight with Lucy.

"You two. Not. Now."

Lucy apologizes, Peter rubs the protagonists thigh while looking at the ground. Lucy reassures the protagonist, "'It's always darkest before the dawn,' like my mom always said. Uhh, before she started eating glass." Peter cuddles the protagonist. After Lucy leaves Peter offers to take the protagonist to his place. "Darling, trust me, the moment you see it, you won't want to leave. And if you try, I'll just have to tie you down and make you stay." "... Are you joking?" "You wanna find out...?"

Of course, the protagonist enters into Peter's beaten up, white van, to a place 3 hours away where Peter lives. Peter confesses to stalking the protagonist for the last several days and assaulting her repeatedly while she was asleep unconscious.

... (silence = "O-okay.")

Peter caresses the protagonists thigh, the protagonist finds a bloody knife is peters glove box which he promptly closes. The protagonist realizes that Peter killed her landlord and is promptly knocked out by Peter.
