After attacking Jesús Hernández, he tried to hit Guadalupe Romero, who defended herself. Upon hearing the screams, a CCH Sur employee, 65-year-old Armando "N," intervened and tried to stop the perpetrator, sustaining injuries in the struggle. During his escape, the attacker fell from the third floor of building M, fracturing both legs and preventing his escape. There he was attended to by emergency services and placed in the custody of the authorities after being handed over by the lawyer of CCH Sur.
