Edit request

Hi again, Hip! Could you please change ^.{71,}$ to ^.{150,}$ on MediaWiki:Titleblacklist? Given that logins are not open, this overstrict protection against title spamming is no longer necessary. Thank you. CurtainMan (talk) 13:43, 3 January 2024 (EST)

Requested move

Could you move Shit no one cares about to Shit Nobody Cares About? I feel liek it has a much better ring to it. Bbb23sucks (talk) 13:53, 6 February 2024 (EST)

Please rename this file

Hi, Hip! Could you please rename File:YouTube_tombstone_2007_2011_2023_2024.png to File:YouTube_tombstone_2008_2011_2016_2023_2024.png? 2008 is the correct year, and I added a 2016 screenshot. ( Special:MovePage/File:YouTube_tombstone_2007_2011_2023_2024.png ) - Thanks in advance. CurtainMan (talk) 08:56, 15 March 2024 (EDT)

Request rename

Can you rename me from User:Hookwhack to User:Crossbow?

Reason: I like archery and prefer the name

User Rights

So when we turn on the moderation queue only editors and above are normally unmoderated. However, you or any other admin can go to Special Pages -> User Rights and set unmoderated privs to regular (non-editor) users. The moderation queue not only prevents vandalism, but it allows for quality control. I will pass this info on to the other admins. Admin (talk) 01:41, 19 September 2024 (UTC)

New attack

I see that you've had your hands full with the rampant vandalism from the accounts with names comprised of random characters. I tried to alert Admin yesterday, but hundreds of these accounts were registered in quick succession. I wondered if it was a DDOS attack, but it looks more like they're trying to destroy the wiki with vandalism. Why not block each and every one of those new accounts registered in quick succession?
