I may have made this point in a comment or two a couple of months ago, but I never wrote a post about it (at least I don't remember writing a post about it). I have heard many remark that they would like to live in Equestria, and given the opportunity, would give up everything to move there. I, personally, would not. Equestria is fine the way it is. Earth needs us far more. The way I see it, My Little Pony is there to show us the way. It's up to us to remake our own world in its image as best we can, one friendship at a time. No judgements on those who feel the burning desire to move there, obviously. I can hardly blame you. Equestria is awesome. I just think you can be a citizen of Equestria without actually living there. All it takes is love of Princess and Country, and the willingness to do your best to let the principles of love, tolerance, and friendship steer your heart whenever possible. The good news is, it is always possible. :) |
