ask.fm
Hey! | This article isn't lulz just yet, but its coverage can spark a lollercoaster. You can help by reverting people who delete shit, and vandalizing their user pages. See this article on Google? Want to add something? Join us! |

ask.fm is the new Formspring amongst the attention whores of today. It allows people to anonymously ask you questions ranging from your favorite color to whether they'd give out 5 dollar blowjobs. It's major demographics are attention-seeking 12 year old girls, trolls, cyberbullys and bored nerds desperate to get e-laid. Every answer posted on Ask.fm is public, and you also have the option to post answered questions to Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr.
Not only is every answered question publicly available for all to enjoy, but it is completely anonymous to the people doing the asking. Which of course means at least 100 teenage girls have been asked to drink bleach, posts tit pics or jerk off some 40 year old loser living with his parents via the internet. It is thus of course unsurprising that the site has caused much butthurt and lulz to the online community
Harassment
The website really doesn't have a harassment policy because it was made for harassment. That said, after some high-profile suicides, next to every answer and profile, there are options to report and block users.
That being said, hanging yourself is always the best option.
Suicides

Hannah Smith
Hannah Smith, an English attention seeker, was fed up with all the hate she was receiving on her Ask.fm, so she decided to kill herself. Her parents called for greater regulation of the site or it's complete shutdown. It was later revealed that she sent herself at least 100 of the messages thought to have contributed to her suicide.
Ciara Pugsley
15 year old girl that committed suicide in September 2012, before doing so she was reportedly asked “Whats been up with u” to which she famously replied:
Erin Gallagher
13 year old girl from Ireland who killed herself after being called fat. In an attempt to curb cyberbullying in the lead up she promised she would kill herself if the abuse continued, thinking the abuse would stop. Final posts described how she was going to hang herself.
