Liminal spaces are a forced meme frequently featured in zoomer internet horror. They are an abstraction of the common zoomer's sense of emptiness because they're weak faggots who don't have any friends and are too afraid to go outside. Liminal spaces are defined as seemingly transitory spaces, a sort of infinite passage between one place to another. Frequently for zoomers, there isn't a deeper meaning to liminal spaces as they are just places in their repressed memory of where they were raped by their uncle.

Remember when life was simple before your uncle gave you the bad touch?

Places that are "Liminal"

  • Empty schools
  • Empty shopping centers
  • Empty parking lots
  • Empty playgrounds
  • Empty pools
  • Any room that is lacking contents will be called “liminal” by zoomers
Sadly this pool is less empty than your existence

Why do they exist?

They exist as somewhat of a symbol for a generation of young people, who are left feeling empty and purposeless on the inside due to their short lives being filled with the modern evils of consumerism, political correctness, social media, and overblown medical scares. It's a way to be nostalgic about their childhood that happened to be five years ago when they were less sentient. This is why they tend to be places frequented as a child because they seemed bigger to younger people.

Are empty spaces actually scary?

Since the target audience of liminal spaces are socially awkward zoomer faggots, the answer is yes, wide-open spaces are scary to those born after 9/11. Regardless, liminal space "enjoyers" are too pussy to actually trespass inside a mall at night when it's closed. The arrival of The Backrooms onto the internet's consciousness created the idea of liminal spaces as a less horror-themed version of infinite empty yellow corridors that smell of piss-soaked carpet.
