... articles read YOU!!
In Soviet Russia, other country stereotype YOU!!
Won't they ever give up?!
Beware of pokemans!

Sandwich can't enjoy YOU!
In Soviet Russia, bag comes in milks!!

The Russian reversal is a form of hilarious shit joke that you can expect from any sentence starting with the phrase "In Soviet Russia..." These jokes are always a lame reverse of something considered normal and end in "YOU!!". These jokes were made popular when Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane famously couldn't come up with a good enough joke related to 1980s pop culture and had to make a crap reference to crap Soviet refugee comedian Yakov Smirnoff, who is the biggest drawing act in Branson, Missouri.

Early Soviet Humor

Jokes and humor in the early USSR was original and completely unique to the honorable experiences of the proletariat. Although, there were some fascist traitors who disrespected the motherland and disregarded their loyalty to the RSFSR. They made fun of Communist slogans, such as the one honoring Comrade Lenin: "Lenin has died, but his cause lives on!", to which the fascists said "I would prefer it the other way round." They also made fun of important state agencies such as the KGB and NKVD. They were quickly dealt with by the Red Guards.

Original

The original jokes were all Orwellian, so they actually made sense as jokes:

  • "In America, you can always find a party. In Soviet Russia, party can always find you!"
  • "In America, you listen to man on radio. In Soviet Russia, man on radio listen to you!"
  • "In America, you watch television. In Soviet Russia, television watches you!"

Top-notch stuff, amirite?

The later variations by permanoobs on the internets are all unfunny reversals of every garbage sentence.

Never Funny

In Soviet Russia...you go to Party Van!!
  • "In Mozilla, you keep tabs on your browser. In Soviet Russia, browser keeps tabs on you!"
  • "In California, you can always find a party. In Soviet Russia, Party finds you!"
"Roses are red
Violets are blue
In Soviet Russia
