"poasting the classic that started it all"

"Sitting Bernie" is an already overused and abused meme from the January 2021 USA Presidential Inauguration of Joe Biden. Basically, known communist, politician, and Terminal Old Victim Bernie Sanders was sitting by himself; (SEE ALSO: FOREVER ALONE); cross-legged, and bundled up quite cozy. The joke (haha get it?) is that an elderly man is all alone, as Uncle Bernie appears to be isolated by everyone else in attendance.

The meme took the internet by storm in January of the year 2021, and quickly became a divisive point between those who meme for the lulz, and those who are easily offended. Basically, un-professonal lulz connoisseurs vs professional victims fighting over the plight of a lonely old man. Must suck to be Bernie, LEL.

Full Circle? The Colonel Himself Responds

After a photograph of the Vermont senator sitting bundled up in a lone chair on the stands of chilly Washington and watching the ceremony became a viral social media meme, Sanders defended his outfit by stating the simple reason - he was cold.

Appearing on the Late Night with Seth Meyers show, Sanders said, 'I was just sitting there trying to keep warm, trying to pay attention to what was going on'.
